Job Purpose:
Overall responsibility to organize, supervise and manage the nursing team and services while remaining fiscally responsible to approved budget and resources.
Acts as clinical resource to improve organizational outcomes through committee participation:
Admissions Committee, Quality Assurance Committee, Risk Management Committee, Pharmacy Committee, Infection Control Committee.
Support community as clinical expert for nursing services and regulations.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse licensure (in state position is located) required Active CPR required Active or ability to obtain Wound Certification and Infection Preventionist Certification required Three-years' experience working in Geriatric, Long Term Care or Rehab setting preferred One-year management or supervisory experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred Responsibilities and Expectations:
Develops and maintains nursing policies, procedures, objectives and practice standards.
Prepares staffing schedules within budgetary guidelines and ensures; assists with budget process Maintains and prepares records, documentation and reports as required by policies and regulations.
Acts as a catalyst for quality improvement.
Performs daily rounding on residents and staff.
Remains compliant with all federal, state, local and corporate regulations.
Creates, maintains and supports a safe work environment and work practices.
Supervises medical records service.
Responsible for the Comprehensive Resident Assessment and the Interdisciplinary Plan Of Care process.
Assists with maintenance of nursing policies, procedures, objectives and standards of practice.
Reviews and makes recommendations related to recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, supervision and corrective action for nursing staff; responsible for appropriate documentation related to these tasks.
Evaluates job performance of professional staff and reviews peer evaluations for assigned staff.
Participates in preparation of nursing schedules to assure adequate staffing and quality care.
Provides input and direction to the nursing Quality Assurance Program.
Conducts regular staff meetings for all shifts.
Maintains accurate resident census reports.
Assists with licensure and certification tracking.
Maintains budgetary control of supply inventory, cost containment and staffing.
Develops positive relationships and is accessible to all residents, families, visitors and staff.
Promotes and supports culture of patient centered care and service.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
